A Better Tuxedo and New Restaurant Hiring

Hi all.

Just a reminder of the A Better Tuxedo meeting this Saturday:

Saturday, September 19
9:00am-12:00 noon
GGM Elementary School
Rt. 17, Tuxedo (I gave out the wrong address previously)

Also, I got a request from the restaurant owners in the Duck Cedar Plaza to advertise open positions. They are ready to roll as soon as they can fill their staffing needs!

“We’re looking for smiling, service-oriented, happy people to be baristas, work the counter (daytime), cook for all shifts, and become food runners.”

Contact Patrick Jenkins if you or anyone you know is interested:

See you Saturday!

“A standout historical series. Eastland depicts his fictional Stalin as more than a James Bond villain, painting him as a conflicted, lonely tyrant whose retribution against slights both real and imagined makes him a very dangerous opponent.” – Kirkus Reviews

Next Weekend – A Better Tuxedo Community Forum
Saturday, September 19 from 9:00am – 12:00pm
GGM, Elementary Common Room, 1 Tornado Drive, Tuxedo, NY 10987

Earlier this year, a group of community leaders and public officials met to discuss plans and ideas on how to move forward as a community and how to improve the place that we live and work. From these meetings, a new coalition formed whose goal is to create A Better Tuxedo.

Now, we want to hear from you – the public – and we hope that you will join us to share your ideas on what you like about Tuxedo, what you’d like to change about Tuxedo, and how we can work together to create a new energy here in town.

The entire Tuxedo community is invited to attend our Tuxedo Community Forum on September 19th at 9:00 AM.
